Terms of Use

Chapter 1. General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

  1. The purpose of this agreement is to establish the terms and conditions, procedures, membership rules, and other necessary matters related to the internet travel service provided by 'Holiday Tour Co., Ltd.' (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") under the Telecommunications Business Act and its enforcement decree.

Article 2 (Effect and Application of the Agreement)

  1. The content of this agreement becomes effective by being posted on the service screen or through other methods of notice to the members.
  2. The Company has the right to change this provision, and any changed provisions take effect through the same method of notice as in paragraph 1.

Article 3 (Supplementary Rules Outside the Agreement)

  1. Matters not specified in this agreement shall be subject to the provisions of the Telecommunications Basic Act, the Telecommunications Business Act, and other relevant laws and regulations.

Article 4 (Definition of Terms)

  1. The definitions of terms used in this regulation are as follows: a. User: Anyone who uses the services provided by the Company b. Member: Among users, individuals who have entered into a service usage contract with the Company c. ID: A combination of characters or characters and numbers selected by a member for identifying the member and enabling service usage, approved by the Company d. Password: A combination of characters and numbers chosen by a member to confirm their identity as the holder of the assigned ID (ID) and to protect their personal secrecy e. Termination: The act of canceling the usage agreement by the Company or the member after the service has been activated

Chapter 2. Membership Registration and Service Usage Agreement

Article 5 (Establishment of Service Usage Agreement)

  1. The service usage agreement is established through the Company's acceptance of the user's usage application and the user's agreement to the terms and conditions.
  2. Individuals who wish to join as members and use the service must provide the personal information requested by the Company.
  3. Individuals who wish to join as members and use the service must provide the personal information requested by the Company.
  • User ID (ID)
  • Password (PASSWORD)
  • Name (Full name / English name)
  • Phone number and address
  1. In addition to the above information, the Company may request additional information that it deems necessary and announce this fact.

Article 6 (Acceptance of Usage Application)

  1. The Company accepts the usage application when the user accurately completes the items specified in Article 3 of Chapter 2.
  2. The Company may withhold approval for the following types of usage applications:
  • Cases where there is insufficient equipment or technical obstacles
  • Cases where the Company deems it necessary
  1. The Company may refuse approval for the following types of usage applications:
  • Cases where the provided name is not the actual name
  • Cases where another person's name is used for the application
  • Cases where false information is provided during the application process
  • Cases where the application is intended to disrupt social order or public morals
  • Cases where the Company's designated usage application requirements are incomplete
  • Cases where the Company's designated usage application requirements are incomplete

Article 7 (Change in Contractual Information)

  1. If the information provided during the usage application changes, the member must make modifications online. The responsibility for any damages caused by failure to make modifications lies with the user.

Article 8 (Protection of Personal Information)

  1. When collecting information from service users, the Company must obtain the user's consent and collect only necessary information. Users have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal information at any time through online channels.
  2. The Company shall not provide, disclose, or lose the personal information of customers to third parties without the consent of the individual. The Company shall be liable for all damages incurred by customers due to failure to protect personal information. However, exceptions apply in the following cases:
  • Cases where a government agency or similar entity demands information based on laws such as the Telecommunications Basic Act
  • Cases where there is a criminal investigation purpose or a request from the Korea Communications Standards Commission
  • Cases where customer information is provided to a delivery company for delivery purposes
  • Cases where certain information is shared for banking operations
  • Cases where information is used for statistical purposes, promotional materials, academic research, etc., without identifying specific individuals
  • Cases where a request is made in accordance with procedures specified by relevant laws If cases of unauthorized disclosure of personal information are discovered, users have the right to report through channels such as phone 02-654-4111, email [email protected], the Korea Consumer Agency, or the Economic Justice Institute. The Company is obligated to take appropriate measures in response.

Chapter 3. Service Usage

Article 9 (Obligations for Managing Member ID, Email, and Password)

  1. The member bears all responsibilities for the management of their ID, email, and password. The member is responsible for any consequences arising from the negligent management or unauthorized use of the assigned ID, email, and password.
  2. In case one's own ID, email, or password is used improperly, the member must promptly notify the Company.

Article 10 (Types of Services)

  1. The Company may change the content and types of services, and such changes will be announced through notices. The types of services are as follows: a. Online reservations and sales of flights and hotels via the internet b. Online reservations and sales of travel products via the internet c. Other travel-related product and information services

Article 11 (Provision of Information)

  1. The Company may provide users with various information deemed necessary during service usage through methods such as email, telephone, and written correspondence.

Article 12 (Suspension of Service Provision)

  1. The Company may suspend the provision of all or part of the service in the following cases: a. Unavoidable situations due to equipment maintenance or construction for the service facilities b. Suspension of telecommunications services by a period telecommunications service provider as stipulated by the Telecommunications Business Act c. Occurrence of a national emergency, power outage, service facility malfunction, or excessive usage that hinders normal service operation

Article 13 (Company's Responsibility for Service Maintenance)

  1. The Company shall maintain the service equipment in an operable state at all times and promptly repair or restore the equipment if an obstacle or loss occurs in the equipment required for service provision.

Article 14 (User's Obligations)

  1. When using the service, the user must refrain from the following actions: a. Using an unauthorized ID b. Replicating information obtained from the service without the Company's prior consent for purposes other than the user's personal usage, including reproduction for publication and broadcasting, or providing it to third parties c. Infringing upon the copyrights or other rights of third parties d. Engaging in objectively determined criminal activities e. Any other actions in violation of relevant laws
  2. Users must comply with the matters specified in these regulations, the service usage guide, and posted notices regarding restrictions on usage.
  3. Users may not engage in business activities using the service without the Company's prior consent, and the Company shall not be held responsible for the results of such business activities or violations of regulations conducted by users for business purposes.

Chapter 4. Service Usage Fees

Article 15 (Fee Structure and More)

  1. The service fee structure provided by the Company is as follows:
  • Membership Registration: Free
  • Browsing Travel-Related Information: Free
  • Booking and Selling Travel-Related Services: Paid
  • The Company reserves the right to change service fees, and detailed information about fees will be provided through separate notices.

Chapter 5. Contract Termination and Restriction of Service Usage

Article 16 (Termination of Contract)

  1. When a member intends to terminate the usage contract, they must apply for termination to the Company through the online platform.
  2. The Company may terminate the usage contract without prior notice or suspend service usage for a specified period if a member engages in any of the following acts:
  • Using an unauthorized ID or misappropriating an email (E-mail) or password
  • Intentionally obstructing the operation of the service
  • Deliberately disseminating content that undermines public order and morals
  • Damaging the honor or causing disadvantages to others
  • Planning or executing service usage with the intention of undermining national interests or social welfare
  • Violating other conditions established by the Company

Article 17 (Matters Concerning Usage Restriction)

  1. When the Company intends to restrict usage according to the provisions of Article 16(2) of this Chapter, the Company shall notify the affected user or their representative of the reasons for the restriction, the date and time of restriction, the duration, and other relevant matters through email (E-mail) or other methods. However, in urgent cases where the Company deems it necessary to suspend usage immediately, notification may be omitted.
  2. A user or their representative who receives a notification of usage restriction under the provisions of the preceding paragraph may raise objections to the notification by filing an objection.
  3. The Company may temporarily postpone the suspension of usage until the confirmation of the objection according to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, and the result shall be communicated to the user or their representative.
  4. The Company shall immediately lift the suspension of usage if it is confirmed that the reason for suspension has been resolved during the period of suspension.

Chapter 6. Compensation for Damages and Exemption Clause

Article 18 (Matters Concerning Compensation for Damages)

  1. The Company shall not be held responsible for any damages incurred by users in connection with the use of free services.
  2. The Company shall be liable to compensate a member for all damages caused by the Company's fault in connection with paid services, in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.

Article 19 (Exemption Clause)

  1. The Company shall be exempt from liability for the provision of services in cases of force majeure or other unavoidable circumstances that prevent the provision of services.
  2. The Company shall not be responsible for service disruptions caused by a member's fault.
  3. The Company shall not be held liable for any profits expected by a member or any losses incurred due to data obtained through the services.
  4. The Company shall not be held liable for the reliability, accuracy, or content of restricted information, data, or facts provided.

Article 20 (Jurisdiction)

  1. In case of any disputes arising from the use of the services leading to legal action, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's headquarters shall be the competent court.

Privacy Policy

"Holiday Tour Co., Ltd." (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") values your personal information and adheres to the provisions of the "Act on the Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection." The Company explains in its Personal Data Processing Policy how your provided personal information will be used, for what purposes and methods, and what measures have been taken to protect your personal data.

If the Company makes changes to the Personal Data Processing Policy, it will notify you through website announcements (or individual notifications).

Items of Collected Personal Information For purposes such as member registration, inquiries, and service applications, the Company collects the following personal information:

Collected Items: Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Login ID, Password, Password Question and Answer, Home Phone Number, Home Address, Mobile Phone Number, Email, Company Phone Number, Marital Status, Anniversary, Legal Guardian Information, Bank Account Information, Service Usage Records, Login Logs, Cookies, Login IP Information, Payment Records. Methods of Collecting Personal Information: Website, written forms, member registration via phone/fax, participation in prize draws, delivery requests, provided by partners, collected through information collection tools. Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Information The Company will use the collected personal information for the following purposes: Fulfilling service contracts and performing related fee settlements, providing content, purchasing and fee payment, goods delivery, or sending bills, financial transaction verification and financial services, fee collection. Member management: Confirming individual identity, personal identification, preventing malicious and unauthorized use, confirming membership intent, confirming age, confirming if personal information of children under 14 years of age is obtained with legal guardian's consent, handling complaints and appeals, providing notices. Marketing and advertising utilization: Developing new services (products) and customization, delivering advertising information, providing services and advertisements based on demographic characteristics, analyzing visit frequency, visit time, participation in activities, number of visits, understanding user preferences and interests. Based on these, provide personalized services including advertisements. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information Generally, after the purpose of collecting and using personal information is achieved, the relevant information will be promptly destroyed. However, the following information will be retained for the reasons below: Items retained: Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Phone Number. Basis for retention: Customer management. Retention period: 5 years. In addition, according to relevant laws and regulations, if there is a need to retain information, the Company will retain member information for a specific period according to the following regulations. Records related to markings/advertisements: 6 months (Consumer Protection Law, Electronic Commerce, etc.) Records related to contracts or counterclaims: 5 years (Consumer Protection Law, Electronic Commerce, etc.) Records related to payment and provision of goods: 5 years (Consumer Protection Law, Electronic Commerce, etc.) Records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years (Consumer Protection Law, Electronic Commerce, etc.) Records related to collection/processing and use of credit information: 3 years (Credit Information Use and Protection Law) Destruction Procedure and Method of Personal Information Generally, after achieving the purpose of collecting and using personal information, the relevant information will be immediately destroyed. The destruction procedure and method are as follows: Destruction procedure: Information entered by users for membership registration will be transferred to a specific database (in the case of paper, to a specific file cabinet). The information will be retained for a certain period according to internal policies and other relevant laws (referring to retention and use periods), and then destroyed. Personal information transferred to a specific database will not be used for purposes other than retention and use periods, unless for legal reasons. Destruction method: Personal information stored in electronic file form will be deleted using technology that cannot reproduce records; personal information output in paper form will be shredded or incinerated. Provision of Personal Information In principle, the Company does not provide users' personal information to external parties. However, exceptions apply in the following cases: When the user has given prior consent. When required by law or under legal procedures and methods, requested by prosecution agencies for investigation. Commission of Collected Personal Information The Company will not commission users' personal information to external companies without the user's consent. If such commission is required in the future, the Company will notify users of the commission object and the content of the commissioned business and obtain prior consent when necessary. Rights of Users and Legal Guardians and How to Exercise Them Users and legal guardians can access or modify their personal information, or request termination of membership at any time, for themselves or for children under 14 years of age. To access/modify personal information for users or children under 14 years of age, you can request termination of membership (withdrawal of consent) through "Change Personal Information" (or "Modify Membership Information," etc.), and directly access, modify, or terminate membership after going through the personal identification process. Alternatively, you can contact the personal information manager in writing, by phone, or email, and we will take prompt action. If you request correction of incorrect personal information, we will not use or provide that personal information until the correction is complete. Additionally, if you have provided incorrect personal information to a third party, we will promptly notify the third party for correction. Personal information terminated or deleted by the user's or legal guardian's request will be processed according to the provisions of "Retention and Use Period of Collected Personal Information" to ensure it is not used for other purposes. Installation and Operation of Cookies - Users can refuse installation. Cookies support users in using the website more quickly and conveniently by optimizing settings and provide customized services.
